Established in 2013, this project is unique in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing a range of services for children with severe physical and developmental disabilities living in the institution at Pazarić. In addition to professional staff acting as personal care assistants, the project provides healthcare equipment, medication and nutritional food to supplement their diet.
This has proven to be a very successful project and the progress of the children is striking.
As well as full-time one-to-one care for some of the most needy children, we also celebrate birthdays and organise monthly excursions for all children living at the institution, currently about 17. We have also created a playground for the children with swings and other equipment for them to play on.
More recently the project has been expanded to provide some assistance to children at the institution in Zovik.
