After more than 30 humanitarian concerts in London, Stockholm, Salzburg, Rotterdam and Mostar, Marko is celebrating his jubilee, 12 years of cooperation with Our Kids Foundation, and we shall be celebrating together with him!

Our Kids is pleased to announce a special online fundraising event “Merak mi je” celebrating Sevdah music with Amira.
At a press conference in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on November 20th 2019, photos were published about the alleged abuse of children in care at the Public Institution for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth Pazarić.
We raised an amazing £9,540! Special thanks to our artists Amira Medunjanin and Bojan Zulfikarpašić who gave another star performance.
Our Kids Foundation is very grateful to Marko Govorcin for his ten years contribution to the organization and for his 19th charity concert performance which was held in Austria, Salzburg on 30th March.
Huge thank you to all of you who joined us at our traditional annual fundraising at the Gunnersbury pub. We are delighted that this party now in its 9th year keeps alive the energy that connected us for the first time in 2009.
Following on from last week’s story by Rasna, this article was written by Simi, Rasna’s mother, and tells of her experiences visiting the children cared for by Our Kids Foundation (“Naša Djeca” in local language) in and around Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The following article was written by Rasna. She first visited Our Kids Foundation’s projects in Mostar on a school trip a few years ago. Recently she returned with her mother Simi. Rasna was kind enough to write this article for us, describing her experience.
We are so proud to have these amazing musicians and great humanitarians Amira Medunjanin, Ante Gelo and Zvonimir Sestak supporting our work and raising the profile of Our Kids Foundation. We raised over £7000 which will go directly to support our existing projects in Mostar.
HERO (Humanitarians for Education and Recreation Outreach) donated 6 laptops to Our Kids Foundation, so the children we look after can do their homework and learn skills they may need later in the workplace.
For the fourth year in a row, the children, employees and volunteers of our Naša Djeca project in Mostar participated in a benefit concert of dance, music and culture. The event raised over KM2500 (£1000) for the project.
Students from Heathland School, UK, visit Mostar to volunteer at Our Kids Foundation projects including the home for disabled adults, the residential project for young adults leaving care and the kid’s club at the children’s home.
Students from the Chelsea Academy and Heathland School in London visited our Halfway House project just outside Mostar. They helped work on ideas for making the project sustainable, planted a garden, and spent time playing and relaxing with the residents.
Amira Medunjanin, Ante Gelo and Zvonimir Sestak perform for Our Kids Fundraiser. Our Kids is proud to be collaborating with such amazing musicians, who are also truly wonderful people. Thanks to all who came and by so doing turned Our Kids fundraiser into a great success.
Our Kids Foundation donates a wheelchair to Anđela, a young girl with Rett Syndrome.
Vivantio (vivantio.com), a service management software company based in the UK and US, has launched a corporate giving project and has selected Our Kids Foundation as a major beneficiary for 2015.
Natural Beauty Care is a successful family business and they take their social responsibility seriously, always looking to share their prosperity with good causes around the world. This year they have chosen to support Our Kids Foundation with a donation of AU$5000.
Our Kids Foundation would like to thank Amira and Ante for being such star performers at the fundraising concert on Saturday. The proceeds came to £4837 and will go towards the Foundation’s latest project: Kuća na Pola Puta, or Halfway House.
In the balmy heat of 35 degrees Celcius, the Doha Ladies Rugby Team ran a fundraising quiz evening. The event was attended by over 100 people. A raffle was held with all prizes donated by various businesses from around Doha, and the ladies worked tirelessly all night to sell drinks. About £3000 was raised on the night.
Asima Salkic and friends organised a fundraising party for Our Kids Foundation. The event raised £375. Thank you!
